Position Classification

FT Staff Non-union

The Administrative Assistant supports the Online JD and Academic Success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Online JD Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to faculty, deans, and directors in the Online JD Program.
    • Support faculty and adjunct faculty with course management, including providing basic technological assistance when needed
    • Prepare class rosters, course materials, and other correspondence
  • Serve as an exam monitor during the exam period.
  • Provide front desk coverage in the Student Service Center as needed
  • Support Online JD admissions team

Academic Success Administrative Support:

  • Support Associate Dean of Student Learning and Assessment, Assistant Dean and Director of Bar Exam Strategies in the in-person and online JD programs.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education – A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • Employment - Six months to two years (Equivalent combination of education and employment).

Physical Requirements

Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).

Work Environment

Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.

Salary/Pay Information

Commensurate with experience.

Anticipated Schedule

Monday to Friday 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM.
