Learn more at https://web.chinese.hku.hk We are establishing a new centre for advanced study of Visual Culture, our first interdisciplinary centre dedicated to advancing research, academic exchange and educational initiatives in visual culture. We are now seeking a highly motivated and capable administrator to join the Centre at its start-up stage.

Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for the post of Executive Officer.
The successful candidate will assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the Centre’s visibility, manage and strengthen its publicity and marketing channels, coordinate events and academic activities (lectures, workshops, visiting professorship etc.), and support the planning of new postgraduate education programmes. The appointee will also help foster links with academic, research and higher education networks in the Chinese Mainland, the wider region and internationally, and provide administrative support for the Centre’s daily operation and strategic initiatives. Working outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a written test and attend an interview.
