Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative and patient care support to UCLA Health Pasadena Dermatology Community Clinic. Assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge. Work as a member of the Ambulatory Care clinic team to provide smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation.

Salary Range: $26.42 - $37.49 hourly


Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high-volume setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Skill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment-making process.
  • Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Skill in maintaining a harmonious work atmosphere, practicing excellent customer service.
  • Skill in speaking clearly and using proper grammar.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided.
  • Skill in using a PC with associated programs, including Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Skill in demonstrating work experience with a database computer program.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of theEPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Experience working in a Pediatric office.
