What to Expect:

In this role you will:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior leaders
  • Manage ad hoc administrative requests requiring discretion, prioritization and follow-through
  • Maintain leadership support materials (minutes, action logs, presentations) as needed
  • Manage incoming communications, screening correspondence, e-mail according to the manager's and department's priorities
  • Route and answer routine correspondence not requiring manager's attention, prepare more complex correspondence for approval by team leader, draft and type material often of a technical/confidential nature
  • Collect and prepare appropriate material for reports, meetings, presentations and conferences within procedures. May attend and minute team meetings or periodic site management meetings
  • Organize and maintain files of manager's and department's correspondence and records, following up on pending matters
  • Manage travel requests, expenses and financial administration
  • Plan and organize logistics for internal events and team activities
  • Manage manager's agenda and coordinate arrangements for a variety of internal and external meetings, travels and accommodations
  • Demonstrate awareness of policies, processes and procedures and suggest improvements where appropriate
  • Manage access, visitors, distribution lists and organizational readiness
  • Manage site operations, facilities, office for Manassas

What will make you successful:

We are seeking professionals with:

  • 3 to 5 years prior administrative assistant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficiency in working with MS Office tools
  • Proficiency in maintaining team shared websites, creating reports or team newsletters
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity to administrative tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Good planning and organizational skills

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $59,343.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $110,209.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee’s contingent on personal and company performance.
