What You'll Support

As the Administrative Assistant for Acute Care Rehabilitation, you'll play an essential role in keeping the department organized and operating efficiently.

What You'll Do

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll provide administrative support that helps therapists focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily administrative functions for the Acute Care Rehabilitation department
  • Coordinate therapist patient assignments
  • Assist with patient scheduling and department communication
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly data entry and financial reporting
  • Organize and maintain employee files and documentation
  • Track regulatory requirements, including CPR certifications, professional licenses, and required credentials
  • Support therapists and leadership with administrative projects
  • Maintain accurate records while protecting patient confidentiality
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and fellow team members

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn departmental software
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or therapy setting
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience with patient scheduling software
  • Medical office or hospital administrative experience
