Job Description

Sacred Heart Glyndon is seeking an Administrative Assistant The Administrative Assistant is a welcoming presence for all who visit, work in, or call the office. This position works alongside the Director of Faith Formation and provides support to the Parish. This is a part-time position, working 19 weekly hours.

Essential Functions

  • Records all Sacramental Records for the Parish with absolute attention to detail
  • Serves as the Parish point of contact for all requests regarding Sacramental Records
  • Provides administrative support to the Director of Faith Formation to include the registration of participants in programs, creating documents and letters, and making phone calls to families as needed.
  • Creates booklets for Sacramental celebrations as requested by Director of Faith Formation
  • Works accurately, independently, and efficiently while balancing multiple tasks
  • Performs other administrative duties in the office as requested by the Director of Faith Formation
  • Performs all work according to the values of the Parish Mission and vision

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the Catholic Church and its teachings and ability to support the Mission
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and manage time well while balancing multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize various tasks
  • Ability to work on Sundays
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred

Pay Range $19.00 - $21.00, Hourly
