The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Director of Jewish Studies to develop a structured approach for the DTS Jewish Studies programs, activities, and projects. We are seeking a motivated, administratively skilled individual who embraces Jewish ministry.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate academic procedures with the Messianic Jewish Theological Academy and Israel College of the Bible including class schedules/rotation, posting syllabi, faculty/teacher liaison, student communications, and tuition reconciliation.
  • Communicate with Jewish Studies students and those interested in Jewish ministry.
  • Implement creative marketing strategies targeting new students, current students, alumni, and friends of the seminary. This may include direct advertising, seminars, conferences, church presentations, and teaching opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage the calendar for Jewish Studies and its director when on campus.
  • Assist the Director of Jewish Studies as serving as the budget manager for Jewish Studies.
  • Represent Jewish Studies at seminary events (new student orientation, seminary preview day, conferences).
  • Collaborate with Our Jewish Friends student group activities and volunteers.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Jewish Studies and the Vice President for Education (in consultation).

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during special events would be a plus.


Education and Experience

  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience required.
