The Calgary Stampede is looking for an Administrative Assistant who is a true collaborator that is passionate about supporting employee safety. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the details and recognizes how that makes the workplace safer.
The Administrative Assistant, Employee Health & Safety, is a member of the Employee Safety team responsible for supporting the Occupational Health & Safety Advisor and Director. This role is responsible for the administration and clerical functions primarily related to WCB claims, employee onboarding related to safety, inspections, near-miss hazard reporting, safety observations, and incident reporting.
Please Note: This year-round, part-time position typically offers 30–35 hours per week, although hours cannot be guaranteed. We provide flexibility in scheduling while requiring a reliable and predictable availability pattern. During the annual Calgary Stampede, you'll have the opportunity to step into a more active role, working 40+ hours per week for approximately 3–4 weeks as we support the preparation, execution and tear-down of the celebration.
