Administrative Assistant Clinical Education - School of Health Professions (Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, & Athletic Training)
Professional StaffThe administrative assistant assists the clinical education faculty in the Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, & Athletic Training (PTRSAT) department with clinical education database management, contract management, and building relationships with clinical sites. This role is necessary to support the expanding Hybrid DPT pathway faculty and students.
Job Duties
Provide administrative support for student interprofessional activities and simulation events.
Verify and maintain student clinical education compliance documents.
Assist with clinical site placement communication as directed.
Update site documents and information on ongoing basis.
Communicate with clinical sites and students about site requirements.
Organize clinical courses including rotations and learning activities within the clinical management systems for all student clinical experiences.
Track student assignments and time sheets as needed in didactic and clinical courses.
Proctor student exams and organize recordings.
Assist with event planning.

Required Qualifications
Work Experience 2 years of experience in administrative assistant role.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field.
Work Experience 3 years administrative experience in an academic setting.

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
