The Role

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, with 7.5 hours paid per day plus a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.

As the Child Care Administration Assistant, you will provide high‑quality administrative support to the service, contributing to smooth daily operations and strong relationships with families, educators and the leadership team. This role plays an important part in supporting regulatory compliance and the delivery of quality early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support including reception duties, phone and email enquiries, filing and document management
• Act as a welcoming first point of contact for families, including managing enquiries and service tours
• Support enrolments and maintain accurate child, family and service records
• Assist with regulatory and compliance requirements, including record keeping and documentation
• Update and maintain childcare management and attendance systems
• Support Child Care Subsidy (CCS) processes, invoicing and fee administration
• Provide administrative support to the Director and leadership team as required

About You – Essential Requirements

• Australian working rights
• A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
