COMPENSATION Administrative Assistant, $19.75/hour (new employee) plus full benefits package.
*Please note that the hourly rate of pay is inclusive of the mandatory 4.5% retirement contribution to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).

ANTICIPATED WORK YEAR & HOURS: 203 Days, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly organized, flexible, and willing to work as a team to assist with priority projects
• Strong background in Excel, Word and Google applications
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working closely with staff and students
• Comfortable working in stressful situations
• Bilingual skills helpful
• Willing to build trusting relationships with students
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of all student personal information
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to relate well to students, staff and parents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including tact in communicating sensitive information with parents and/or faculty/staff
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
