Job Description

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. The Administrative Assistant provides organizational, clerical, and administrative support to supported staff as well as assisting in program activities and special projects as assigned. The Administrative Assistant performs all office functions including supervising general office operations, mail distribution and office supplies.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. High School graduation or GED required, Associate’s degree preferred. Must possess an intermediate skill level regarding software and computer applications. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects.
