Job Duties:

  • The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of complex administrative, professional and technical support duties for the division.
  • Serves as the administrative lead for the Office of Civil Rights assisting with all aspects of administrative needs - scheduling, filing, document management, etc.
  • Receives and logs requests for Fair Hearings, Administrative Disqualification Hearings, and other requests.
  • Communicates with clients, the public and other agency personnel via telephone and in person to handle inquiries, requests for service and complaints. Serves as the primary person to answer division telephone calls.
  • Maintains case files and inputs data, providing all required communication, scheduling assistance, transcripts and correspondence with related parties.
  • Provides professional and administrative assistance to the Division Director, Hearing Officers and staff as needed.
  • Researches via CAPPS, LCMS, IssueTrak, USPS, and related systems to update and resolve issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Examples of duties

A High School Diploma and relevant experience in administrative services.

A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
