We are seeking an Administrative Support professional to support the Safety & Environmental function at our federal customer site in Folsom, CA.

Position Summary:
The Safety & Environment Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative, logistical, and operational support to federal safety, environmental, and compliance personnel. This role ensures smooth daily operations by managing documentation, coordinating training and audits, supporting field staff, and maintaining accurate internal systems. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Arranging travel, managing timekeeping, calendars.
- Coordinate resource management and scheduling.
- Perform document duplication and processing and form maintenance.
- Generating purchase requisitions and orders.
- Provide event support and coordination.
- Conduct mail processing and distribution and update intranet sites.
- Provide multi-line phone coverage and office assistance to federal personnel.
- Update and distribute manuals and documents to field staff.
- Coordinate occupational safety and environmental training events.
- Maintain internal tracking systems.
- Support site safety audits and visits.
- Updating maps and other mixed media
- Support updates to environmental compliance plans and annual PSEM revisions.
- Prepare and distribute monthly status reports and inspection notes.
- Assist with environmental and safety training coordination, roster uploads, and certificate distribution.
- Maintain training matrices, project tracking, and environmental program records.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and monthly accrual updates.
- Maintain incident/injury data, safety documentation, and SDS/technical library files.
- Participate in safety site visits and update corrective‑action tracking.
- Track CDL and defensive‑driving requirements for vehicle operators.
- Collect and post weekly safety meeting notes and maintain first aid supplies.
- Distribute weekly safety schedules and conduct monthly AED testing

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be willing to participate in federal background investigation and drug test.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Must have typing and note taking skills (type 50+wpm).
- Able to work independently.
- A capacity for learning new skills quickly.
- Time-management skills and multitasking ability.
- Pragmatic team player who is not confined by a job description and is willing to step in to assist where needed no task is too big or too small for you.
