Brief

Position Summary

Responsible for greeting customers, answering a large volume of phone calls, routing them to the correct person/department, electronic filing of warehouse and sales documents into digital imaging system. Additional clerical duties as assigned, including assisting the returns department during down time by requesting and processing RGA’s and warranties and contacting vendors. Position is expected to consistently demonstrate Rampart’s values and quality customer service in each interaction.

Responsibilities & Duties

Primary

• Interact with customers with the highest level of customer service whether on the phone or in person to ensure customer satisfaction
• Answer and transfer incoming calls to the appropriate person or voicemail
• Scan/file documents into the electronic filing system
• File Material test report
• Provide support to accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed
• Operate in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures

As needed

• Research returns, request and process RGA’s and warranties
• Provide administrative support as needed for the organization
• Assist with other projects in the office
• Compile and disseminate daily employee “out” list
• Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail, processing mail as required by adding customer numbers or other identifying information
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

QualificationsEducation, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in customer service
• Experience using a multi-line switchboard phone system preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Organization skills

Physical Requirements

• Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to sit, talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, and use eye/hand coordination
• Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to use fine manipulation and grasp
• Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, and push or pull,
