Key Responsibilities
·The position will support surgery scheduling and coordination of corresponding post operative and follow up appointments, etc. Core duties include submitting cases for surgical authorization, communicating surgery details to patient, and managing calendars for assigned surgeons. This role will be responsible for maintaining a variety of related records and code charges. Ensures timely receipt of written orders and verifies that orders meet compliance guidelines as a quality assurance measure. Manages work with basic guidance and direction. Addresses basic administrative and technical issues when they arise. Requires general knowledge of medical terminology and general anatomy in order to recognize and accurately record requested examinations and diagnoses.

Qualifications
·High School Diploma/GED required.
·Requires 0-3+ years relevant experience; previous administrative experience preferred.
·Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.
·Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
