Job Description

IEM is looking for a Full Time- Administrative Assistant that is comfortable with using a computer in an office environment for a general administrative role assisting the IEM team.

Primary Location:

  • Live a commutable distance to Port Richey, Florida
  • Work in an office environment with a team.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate all aspects of office administration
  • Provide administrative support such as:
    • Telephone support
    • Creation of general correspondence
    • Typing
    • Filing
    • Mailing including UPS & FedEx
    • Scheduling
    • Making copies
    • Scanning
  • Pull documentations needed for contract requirements.
  • Data entry for invoicing assist with reviewing of reports.
  • Other administrative duties

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate level office practices and must be comfortable with the corporate and customer environment.
  • Experienced, energetic, highly motivated, self-motivated dependable person.
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced environment.
  • Self-starter who is confident in their abilities and willing to take the initiative.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of federally funded grant programs such as CDBG/CDBG-DR and FEMA HMGP
  • Knowledge of construction – including inspection reports.
  • Knowledge of various database and program management tools such as SmartSheets, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.

Additional Information:

  • Office Locations: Often, these offices are either owned by the client we work with or by IEM. All candidates are expected to follow any rules and regulations of the office in which they are required to work for that project.
