About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a temporary opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join the Greater Sydney team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage.

As an Administration Assistant, you will provide administrative and support services to facilitate the operation of a dynamic team working to enhance conservation values across the Greater Sydney Branch. The role provides office based administrative support and quality face-to-face customer service through a use of various technologies ensuring compliance with organisational policies, processes and procedures, audit and statutory requirements.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You will possess strong attention to detail as well as have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Experience managing competing demands and maintaining high attention to detail to ensure administrative support is provided in a timely and efficient manner.
• Experience providing high-quality service to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements

• Experience in administration including the use of computer-based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management and records management systems.
• Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies, and practices.
