West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Our Slave Lake division in Slave Lake, Alberta, is recruiting for a Administrative Assistant.

Reporting to our Office Manager, this position will support our Accounting and Shipping group. You will improve mill processes as a valued member of the administrative group.

You'll do:

• Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure vendor payments are completed accurately and timely
• Back up Shipping Coordinator
• Back up Woods Clerk
• Assist the team with reports
• Other duties as required

You have:

• Two to four years of administrative experience
• Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy
• Understanding of Accounts Payable processes
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Customer service focused
• Quick learner and adaptable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Available to work between the hours of 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Considered an asset:

• A Post-Secondary Diploma in Office Administration
