PromptCare is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Respiratory department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Respiratory team and other departments with multiple responsibilities throughout the day ensuring the smooth running of the department. Reporting to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Plainview, NY

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1–3 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience required
• Skilled with MS Office Suite
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced, challenging environment
• Experience in healthcare or medical office setting preferred, but not required

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

• General administrative duties such as filing, faxing, mailings, emailing, report generation, photocopying, correspondence, etc
• Scheduling follow ups and set ups for patients
• Spreadsheet updates for Lead RTs
• Ordering warehouse and office needs
• One-trach input and output data
• Web based program downloads and send to MD/referral sources and billing department
• Communicate with the sales team
• Assist operations and other departments
• Follow all established PromptCare policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds but no more than 35 pounds.
