Administrative Assistant
Location: 241 Ralph McGill Blvd., Atlanta GA – GPC Corporate Office
This position will provide administrative support to the Capital Governance and Support team. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, sounds judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments across multiple stakeholders
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries and expense reporting
- Perform timekeeping and some administration
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, report and follow-up action items
- Supporting onboarding activities for new employees and contractors
- Maintain organized records, files and documentation systems
- Track deadlines, deliverables and recurring administrative activities
- Coordinate department meetings including the management of logistics and agenda preparation
- Assist with procurement, vendor coordination and invoice processing (i.e. purchase requisitions/purchase orders)
- Support departmental reporting, metrics tracking and data entry activities
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and workflows
- Build effective relationships with administrative professionals across the department and support collaborative responsibilities
- Develop templates, trackers and organization systems to increase efficiency
- Manage mail distribution
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Submit facilities work orders when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience
- Experience supporting a team including multiple leaders and individual contributors
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
- Proficiency in Oracle HCM and Maximo is a plus
- Understanding of general accounting processes and POET departmental coding is a plus

Other Requirements
- Successful candidate must be available to support storm duty
- Must live in/near or be willing to relocate within reasonable distance from work location. We are currently operating in a hybrid work model with the expectation of at least four (4) days in the office per week
- This position can require some travel – approximately 25% per year
