Job Location: Riverside Village - Leominster, MA 01453
Salary Range: $23.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Schochet is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant.

Riverside Village Apartments is a 300+ unit family apartment community located in Leominster, Ma.  The Administrative Assistant will provide office support to the Property Manager and other staff throughout the property.
Duties and Skills:
- Answering phones and greet visitors in a cordial manner.  Answer phones and take messages from answering machines and answering services as appropriate.  Direct calls to the appropriate person in the office and/or assistant the caller directly when appropriate.
- Open and/or close work orders as assigned and inspections.  Detailed information from the resident on the work order request is needed in order to expedite the repair work.  Keep appropriate staff informed regarding customer issues and concerns.
- Send and receive rental applications, process applications onto waitlist.
- Coordinate mailings as assigned.  Examples may include annual waitlist updates, application processing and vendor insurance certificates.
- Provide administrative support in the areas of scheduling, typing, filing, supply ordering and mail coordination.  Create and distribute resident notices and letters at request of maintenance and management staff.
- Update Pest control monitoring report
- Enter Payables, investigate outstanding invoices if any
- Process rent checks monthly, and updating monthly report for any receivables outstanding.
- Process HAP payments and allocate according to HAP allocations.
- Review and provide parking permit, Update on property report.
- Additional duties will be assigned.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Prior office experience required, strong attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent customer service skills.
