We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative functions for Juneau plant and office. Including, but not limited to; greeting visitors, entering purchase orders, ordering uniforms, booking company events, leading plant involvement activities, and stocking breakrooms. This role offers the opportunity for a candidate to learn our processes and people and can be a gateway to build a career with the company.

What you’ll do:

• Greet and direct all visitors courteously and respectfully, answer phones, sign visitors into the facility and issue badges.
• Manage and order office and breakroom inventory/supplies.
• Lead Community and Plant Involvement tasks, including planning company events, booking locations, organizing meeting spaces, and ordering/setting up lunches.
• Handle a wide range of office administrative related tasks and assist Plant Manager in special projects.
• Prepare raw material packets for receiving (in Excel).
• Generate POs and file receivers & invoices, purging and moving them to storage at year end.
• Order and manage uniforms for new and current employees.
• Manage vending services.

What you'll bring:

• Intermediate or advanced in Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook) and willing to learn and upgrade knowledge to an advanced level.
• Excellent organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• An attitude of enjoying the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
• Ability to adhere to plant and safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices and be actively involved in identifying issues and resolving.
• Ability to grow into future roles and interest in taking next steps in career.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
