Job Description

The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting Energy operations by performing a variety of duties for assigned locations. This includes answering phones, working with customers, setting up and updating customer tank files, and working with multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create tank files in Agvantage Edge
  • Ensures accurate account/tank maintenance and updating account information
  • Filing/Scanning documents
  • Send emails and letters as required
  • Answer phones or email in a polite, courteous and professional manner
  • Work closely with other departments to update account information
  • Keep your area clean and organized, housekeep when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of multi state taxes including fuel tax and sales tax
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software including word, excel, Teams, Outlook
  • Ability to create letters, documents and send e-mail using the appropriate software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in fuel or propane preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit, bend, and reach overhead as part of daily office activities
  • Able to hear effectively on the phone
  • Able to read documents with fine print.
  • Able to use a keyboard
  • Able to lift 30+ pounds
