About the Position:

The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) position supports the Impaired Driving Section by providing administrative services to the entire section. The position also supports the statewide Ignition Interlock Program (IIP).

About the Division:

The Impaired Driving Section (IDS) is comprised of the Breath Test Program (BTP), Ignition Interlock Program (IIP) and Drug Evaluation and Classification (DEC) Program.

Our desired candidate will have:

Our new teammate will be able to:

  • Compose business communications
  • Compose, send and respond to electronic mail

  • Facilitate the Technician Certificate Testing
  • Update and maintain the ignition interlock manufacturer database records
  • Monitor interlock customer failure reports
  • Assist in fulfilling public disclosure requests
  • Maintain retention schedules on all interlock program documents
  • Order supplies as needed from approved vendors
  • Provides clerical support to the Impaired Driving Section personnel
  • Maintain and prepare Impaired Driving Section invoices and credit card statements

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the incumbent may be expected to adjust the work schedule to meet business needs. A flexible work schedule will be considered at the incumbent’s request but is subject to supervisory approval. Telework is not an option for this position.

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience.
