The Opportunity

The Administration Team Leader is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting the administration team, managing daily workloads and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. The role oversees team performance, systems, reporting and billing while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and develop the administration team, providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day guidance.
  • Manage and prioritise team workloads to ensure deadlines, service requirements and operational KPIs are achieved.
  • Take a hands-on approach by supporting daily administrative and operational activities during busy periods when required.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity and quality, completing regular checks to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, KPIs, billing information and performance data, working closely with Finance and other departments.
  • Support workforce planning across multiple branches/locations, ensuring appropriate coverage and consistent administrative processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, implementing practical solutions that make administrative activities simpler, faster and more effective.

About You

  • Previous experience in, a Team Leader or similar leadership role.
  • A hands-on and approachable leadership style, with experience coaching, developing and supporting team members.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with confidence using spreadsheets, reporting, data analysis and operational tracking.
  • Experience with reporting, KPIs, data management and exposure to billing or finance-related administration.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across Operations, Finance and other teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working across multiple systems, with experience supporting multiple locations or workforce planning considered advantageous.
