We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our busy team at Boronia Aged Care.
This is a diverse and fast-paced role supporting the Home Manager, employees, residents and families across the day-to-day operations of the home.
Rostering experience is essential.
Rostering is a significant part of this role, so you will need to be confident coordinating workforce schedules, managing staffing allocations and responding to operational changes in a dynamic environment.
You will also support payroll, admissions and discharges, tours, compliance, events and general administration.
✓ Manage staff rosters and staffing coverage
✓ Adjust rosters for leave, absences and operational requirements
✓ Process timesheets and leave applications
✓ Provide administrative support to the Home Manager and leadership team
✓ Support resident admissions and discharges
✓ Coordinate tours and assist prospective residents and families
✓ Maintain compliance documentation and records
✓ Support resident events, activities and employee recognition initiatives
✓ Provide professional and friendly support to residents, families and stakeholders
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
✓ Proven staff rostering experience in a busy or high-volume environment
✓ Confidence using rostering or workforce management systems
✓ Payroll administration experience
✓ Strong administration and record-keeping skills
✓ Excellent attention to detail and organisation
✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✓ The ability to manage competing priorities
✓ A professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
✓ Strong computer skills and a high level of confidentiality
✓ Aged care, healthcare or community services experience will be highly regarded
