Administration Officer

Be the friendly face of our Ballarat depot.

Christians Bus Company is looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Administration Officer to join our Ballarat team.

This is a varied office-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, while providing important administration support to our depot operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage reception and provide a warm, professional first point of contact for customers, visitors and employees
• Answer and assist inbound phone enquiries, including questions about bus routes and timetables
• Provide professional customer service and assist with customer complaints in line with company procedures
• Manage lost property enquiries and records
• Maintain employee records and monitor important document renewals
• Support charter enquiries, quotes and bookings using our Coach Manager system
• Assist with PTV and V/Line administration, including passenger numbers, banking and reporting
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation accurately and within required timeframes
• Support the Depot Manager with day-to-day administration and operational tasks
• Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming office environment

• Committed to confidentiality and professional standards
• Filling in as a chaperone on our DEET service from time to time, when required

What you’ll need

• Police Record Check
• Working with Children Check Employee (WWCC)
• First Aid with CPR
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Previous administration and/or customer service experience will be highly regarded
