We are looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Signalling and Telecommunications Maintenance Business Support Team on a temporary full-time basis until 21st of January 2027.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support services to facilitate the effective operation and function of the work area.

You will be an adaptable individual who is able to work autonomously and have outstanding communication skills to provide a wide range of support to the Supervising Administration Officer and their immediate direct reports.

Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and your ability to prioritise your workload will be paramount to your success in this role.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a high level of administrative support to the unit as required, including Payroll Timesheet Data Entry
  • Ensure fatigue management guidelines are met and adhered to through collation of data and reporting
  • Minute-taking, preparing agendas as well as gathering and developing reports on behalf of coordinators
  • Manage divisional requirements including SAP Purchasing and accounts payable activity such as goods receipting, blocked invoices, and accruals
  • Contribute as a team member towards achieving best practice in the smooth, efficient, and responsive delivery of all administrative support functions, document management and projects
  • Assist with backfill of duties across the Business Support team at times of staff absence

About you:

  • Be a highly skilled administrative professional who has worked in a high-volume data entry role and is used to working in a fast paced, high-pressured environment
  • You will be a competent user in Microsoft Office programs, in particular intermediate experience with Excel where a majority of work will be completed
  • You will have strong attention to detail and can accept change in an ever-changing environment
  • A team player who has worked in a large team previously
  • Highly desirable to have demonstrated experience in SAP Production as this will be a major focus of the role
