About the Opportunity

We're seeking an Administration Officer to join our Business Support Services team based in Geebung.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll provide administrative, customer service and business support across the organisation. As one of the first points of contact for ADA Australia, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences for clients, visitors, employees and community members while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our services.

In this Role, You Will

  • Provide administrative support including correspondence, reports, mailouts and organisational documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems.
  • Assist with incoming telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Provide backup reception support and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Support the coordination of office resources, organisational vehicles and business operations.
  • Assist with meetings, training events, travel bookings and other organisational activities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits and organisational projects.

About You

You are organised, proactive and customer-focused, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for providing high-quality administrative support. You enjoy variety in your work, build positive relationships and can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

You Will Bring

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration, reception or customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience maintaining records, databases and administrative systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in a not-for-profit, community services, health, aged care or disability services environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Current driver licence.
  • Current National Criminal History Certificate.
  • Ability to travel between Geebung and Woolloongabba offices as required.

ADA Australia is funded by the State and Commonwealth Governments to provide information, education and support to enable people to understand and exercise their rights and responsibilities when receiving an aged care or community care service.
