Job Description

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Self-Employment Assistance (formerly NEIS) program based at our Mount Druitt, NSW site The role supports participants, consultants, training providers, and key stakeholders to ensure accurate administration, compliance, and timely processing of program activities.

The Administration Officer contributes to positive participant experiences and successful program outcomes through effective coordination, record management, and stakeholder support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to enquiries regarding the Self-Employment Assistance program from participants, referral partners, and stakeholders.
  • Manage participant applications and supporting documentation throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Monitor and maintain records relating to participant eligibility, business documentation, and required evidence.
  • Coordinate participant onboarding, training enrolments, and program commencements.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation in accordance with Departmental guidelines and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate participant files within APM systems and relevant government platforms.
  • Process participant suspensions, recommencements, exits, and program variations within required timeframes.
  • Ensure all records, case notes, and participant information are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Manage and maintain participant databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Assist with claims processing and supporting evidence requirements.
  • Support consultants in creation of small business coaching agreement, reviews, and scheduled participant activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Business Services, or a related field (desirable).
  • Relevant administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current National Police Check, WWCC Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Current Working Rights within Australia.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to  work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
