Administration Officer- Jewish Care Caulfield

About the position

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, calm and caring Administration Officer to join our Residential Aged Care team on a permanent full-time basis. This role is responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, maintaining staff rosters, and payroll record management to ensure seamless operations within our aged care facility.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A supportive, patient, compassionate, understanding and respectful approach towards older people
  • A warm, calm, friendly and engaging personality with great relationship-building skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration/customer service roles and rostering, ideally in a medical or aged care organisation
  • Experience with Pay Global & Humanforce (desirable)
  • Manage and maintain administrative records of each client
  • Complaint management and deliver staff site orientation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and families
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and providing exceptional customer service, ideally in face-to-face contexts
  • Demonstrate efficient and highly developed time management skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Qualification in Business Administration or similar would be beneficial
  • MS Office proficiency, excellent typing and word processing skills
  • Russian or Hebrew language skills (desirable but not essential).

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work with stakeholders to support our residents, visitors and staff. Previous experience in an administrative or aged care environment is highly desirable.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
