Job Description

Your opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join Westfield Carindale as an Administration Manager. This is a dynamic and varied position with a strong focus on providing financial and administrative leadership across the centre. Partnering closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team, you'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, controls and business planning.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development of the annual asset budgets, ensuring finances are managed to achieve budget outcomes.
  • On-going analysis and management of centre profit and loss reports, including reviewing and processing monthly accruals and journals (including prepayments).
  • Identifying and presenting financial risks and opportunities to the Asset Team with actionable recommendations.
  • Conducting bi-monthly budget forecasting to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Managing all centre daily banking, reconciliations, accounts payable, and the daily running of the office.

This is a full-time opportunity. As part of our operational team, you will also have duty management responsibilities and will be required to work weekend shifts on a roster, balanced with a day off in lieu.

You are a highly organised and deadline-driven professional with strong financial administration experience and a collaborative approach to working with a broad range of stakeholders. You will also bring:

  • Proven administrative expertise ensuring efficient day-to-day office operation
  • An accounting or finance background, with experience in profit and loss management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial administration.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of influencing outcomes and delivering results.
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
