PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To carry out the full administrative function of the store in line with required standards, ensuring effective support to store operations and serving as the link between employees and management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Grade 11 New Curriculum or Grade 12 Old Curriculum
• A minimum of 4 years’ retail experience, of which 2 years must be in retail administration
ADVANTAGEOUS
• Higher Certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration or Human Resources
• ARCH and/or Jarrison experience
• Cash handling knowledge
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Prepare weekly staff schedules and assist supervisors with planning of working hours and breaks.
• Print and display approved weekly schedules and attend to employee queries.
• Verify overtime and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Issue and manage clock cards and/or biometric registrations for Jarrison.
• Support HR functions at store level including induction, recruitment, wellness and training activities.
• Attend to HR-related queries and escalate where required.
• Process end-of-day reports and submit invoices to Head Office daily.
• Maintain and control the GMV register and GMV books.
• Order and manage stationery for the store as needed.
• Administer the Jarrison time and attendance system.
• Coordinate and participate in stock take preparations and activities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company documents and information.
• Assist management with reasonable requests and assignments.
• Report and help manage incidents involving damage, theft, loss or safety concerns.
