About Opportunity

Cyrenian House is seeking a warm, professional and proactive Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis to work across our metropolitan sites.

This role is the first point of contact for consumers, visitors, and stakeholders. It will help create a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment for people accessing support and provide a positive experience for everyone.

Alongside reception duties, the role will provide administrative support to our clinical and management teams, helping ensure high-quality services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

The position is a level 2-level 3, pay rate is $40.31 – $45.70 per hour (depending on experience), PLUS casual loading and superannuation.

Requirements for the role are:

  • Diploma in office administration or equivalent experience.
  • Sound written communication skills, with experience in minute-taking.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Experience in the use of filing systems, appointment management and administrative systems.
  • Flexible and able to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A current Driver’s Licence, National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate and full work rights.

We draw on a diverse range of approaches including the Therapeutic Community Model, 12 Step Recovery Models, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Systems Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Social Learning Theory.
