Join Ironbark as an Administration Assistant in this Indigenous identified position. You will be the welcoming face of our organisation, providing professional front office services and essential administrative support to our Workforce Australia team in our Palmerston office. This role is vital for creating a positive atmosphere for staff and clients. Your contributions will help enhance community impact and promote cultural awareness. What you will do
As an Administration Assistant at Ironbark, you will play an important role in creating a friendly and inclusive environment for all visitors while supporting the Palmerston Workforce Australia team. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing calendar bookings, maintaining office supplies, supporting the team and their job seekers. and completing various administrative tasks to keep the office and the team running efficiently. By participating in team meetings and supporting cultural initiatives, you will help build a workplace that values diversity and community engagement, contributing to our mission of making a meaningful impact.
We are looking for a suitable applicant who has:
• Proven experience in reception and administrative roles.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive and able to take initiative in tasks.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capacity to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Working with Children (Ochre) Card and National Police Clearance.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
