About the role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant /Receptionist to join our team at Midland Withdrawal and Intervention Centre (MWIC), based in Middle Swan on a part-time basis, working 45 hours per fortnight (Maximum-term Contract ending 25th June 2027).

This is a frontline, initial contact position providing a welcoming introduction to people accessing Cyrenian House services. The position performs duties that are consumer focused including maintaining records, reception, and telephone systems.

This position is also responsible for providing some administrative support to the clinical team and manager as directed.

The successful candidate must share our mission and values and demonstrate passion and drive to provide high quality services to people affected by alcohol and other drugs.

Level 2 – Level 3 -$79.917 - $90,594 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation and salary packaging

This position is a Maximum-term Contract ending 25th June 2027,working 45 hours per fortnight.

To be appointed / successful in this role you will require the following key qualifications, skills and experience:

• Diploma in office administration, business administration certificate, or equivalent qualification and/or experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including a welcoming manner, for telephone and face-to-face interactions.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Proven ability to work under pressure.

• Effective time management skills.

• Experience in use of filing systems, appointment management and administrative systems.

• Flexible and an ability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.

• A current Driver’s Licence, National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate and full work rights.

We draw on a diverse range of approaches including the Therapeutic Community Model, 12 Step Recovery Models, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Systems Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Social Learning Theory.
