Job Description

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for the TEC by providing professional and confidential responses to basic reception (front counter) and telephone enquiries.
  • Undertake daily mail management.
  • Utilise a range of systems and software to prepare, print, collate and send correspondence, publications and other documents related to electoral administration.
  • Undertake allocated administrative and operational tasks that directly support the delivery of local government, parliamentary, statutory and non-statutory elections including assisting with updating, proofing and maintaining election-related documentation and support materials for electoral events.
  • Support the operation of call centre services during electoral events, including monitoring routine enquiry handling, relaying approved information updates to casual staff, and escalating matters as required.
  • Undertake desktop research and sourcing of information to support TEC operations.
  • Perform other band appropriate administrative duties as allocated by the Business Manager
