Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Provides support to the executive; manages and coordinates calendars, schedule appointments, and organize complex meetings for hospital administrators. Prepares reports and processes confidential correspondence. Monitor office supply inventory and handle incoming/outgoing department mail. Acts as a central point of contact for the department, screening phone calls, greeting visitors, and assisting staff, physicians and patients. Works collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to ensure all tasks are completed in an efficient and accurate manner to support the administrative team.

This position will handle other duties and/or projects as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

§ High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field is highly preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

§ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Suite and hospital management software.

Two plus years as an Administrative Assistant in a healthcare setting.

Licenses/Certifications

Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
