
The Department of Cinematic Arts at the University of Iowa seeks a highly organized, adaptable, and service‑oriented Administrative Services Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of a dynamic academic department. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of departmental activities in support of faculty, students, staff, and the broader university community.
Cinematic Arts at Iowa is a nationally recognized program, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees that integrate creative practice with critical study of film and media. With award‑winning faculty in film and video production, film history and theory, and screenwriting, the department fosters collaboration across artistic, scholarly, and technical disciplines. Students, faculty, and staff engage in teaching, research, production, public events, and community involvement within a vibrant academic and creative environment that values innovation, storytelling, and interdisciplinary inquiry.
