Kolomoni Microfinance Bank (Gambia) Limited is a CBG-licensed microfinance institution serving customers across The Gambia through a growing branch network. We are recruiting an Admin & Procurement Officer to keep head office and our branches supplied, maintained and running. THE ROLE You will buy on the Bank's behalf and keep its premises, vehicles, equipment and services working — sourcing competitively, negotiating hard, and making sure every purchase is properly documented and approved before the Bank is committed. It is a service role and a control role at the same time, and the second part matters as much as the first. WHAT YOU WILL DO Source goods and services competitively, obtain comparative quotations, and negotiate price, terms and delivery. Track administrative and procurement spend against budget and find savings in recurring cost lines. Manage vendor performance on cleaning, security, generator, maintenance, utilities and internet contracts. Maintain the contract, lease, insurance, license and vehicle renewal calendar and act before things expire. Maintain the fixed asset register — tagging, location, custodian, condition — and support periodic verification. Keep premises, facilities and equipment to a standard the Bank is willing to have customers see. Follow the procurement process on every purchase, and keep the evidence on file for audit. Requirements At least 3 years in administration, procurement, facilities or supply chain, preferably in a controlled environment. Practical experience of competitive sourcing, vendor management and contract renewal. Experience maintaining a fixed asset register and supporting audit verification. An HND or first degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, accounting or a related field. Integrity beyond question, and the firmness to refuse a purchase that has not followed process — however urgent it is said to be.
