Job Description

Salary: G12-G14, £29,064 - £31,022 FTE, actual Salary: £25,640 - £27,368 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part-time

Working hours: 37 hours per week, working 40 weeks per year (Term time including TD days plus 5 days during summer holiday)

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 12.30 plus 1.15pm to 4.30pm. We’re happy to talk flexible working options in regards to all our roles

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Officer to provide efficient administrative support and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our school. The successful candidate will manage a range of administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, respond to enquiries, and provide excellent customer service to staff, pupils, parents, and visitors. They will work closely with the leadership team to support school operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and contributing to a positive school environment.

Our School

Queen’s Crescent School is a two-form entry primary school, based in Chippenham with over 400 pupils on roll across 14 classes. In 2014 the school became a single academy trust and subsequently joined Pickwick Academy Trust in 2017 as one of the four founding schools. Queen’s Crescent is a vibrant school and our energetic, caring and positive staff are committed to providing the best primary education for all of our children. Children learn best when they feel happy and safe, so we aim to provide a nurturing environment that allows them to succeed but also feel safe to make mistakes along the way. In such an atmosphere, we believe that every child can achieve their full potential, irrespective of ability or background. Our curriculum is broad and balanced and delivered by means of stimulating learning enquiries that build on prior knowledge and skills, preparing each individual for the next phase of their education and life beyond school. We are currently investing significantly in our IT infrastructure to support the delivery of the curriculum enabling our teachers to teach in new and dynamic ways which in turn results in fantastic outcomes for our children.
