Marketing, Outreach & Development Coordinator

Middlebury, VT (with some local travel)
Full-Time (37.5 hours/week, occasional evenings & weekends)

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded Marketing, Outreach & Development Coordinator to join our team! In this dynamic role, you’ll help bring our mission to life by supporting marketing efforts, strengthening community connections, and assisting with fundraising and outreach initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Keep the department running smoothly with day-to-day coordination and organization
  • Track marketing material requests and manage inventory of promotional items
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Help organize and execute community and fundraising events (like seasonal events and special initiatives)
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and volunteers from planning through execution

Community Outreach

  • Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and job fairs
  • Support staff participation in outreach efforts by preparing materials and logistics
  • Build relationships that strengthen community presence

Marketing & Data Insights

  • Track and analyze performance metrics (social media, website, campaigns)
  • Maintain spreadsheets and assist with database updates and reporting

Content Creation & Communications

  • Create engaging social media posts, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Provide support for organizational newsletters, blogs, and website content
  • Assist with brochures, press releases, fundraising materials, and annual reports

Development Support

  • Assist with mailings and communications
  • Help coordinate required documentation and signatures for funding efforts

What You Bring

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Creativity and familiarity with social media and content creation tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    (or equivalent experience)

About Counseling Service of Addison County, Inc

The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is a local community mental health center located in Middlebury, Vermont. Since 1959, CSAC has been an integral part of the Addison County community.

The Counseling Service offers a wide range of professional mental health and developmental services designed to meet the needs of those seeking help. We are able to provide a multi-disciplinary approach that draws on the expertise of our staff, which includes persons trained in developmental services, substance abuse treatment, psychiatry, psychology, mental health counseling, social work, family therapy, and child therapy.

Our goal is to help people live more productive lives in their communities.

The following Mission Statement and Values were adopted by the CSAC Board of Directors at their October 9th, 1997 Board meeting. The Mission Statement and Values are the result of several staff and community meetings, where input was gathered.
