Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing; or a Bachelors in another field and a Master’s degree in NursingMasters in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required. Will consider candidates working towards completion of the degree.National Certification relative to role is preferred
Minimum Work ExperienceA minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills towards leading nursing indicatorsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Perioperative setting. Operating Room experience preferred for this role
Required SkillsAbility to evaluate statistical data for use in planning and monitoring operations and budgetsHas proven skills in developing high performance teamsDemonstrates an understanding of federal, state, and private payment systemsCapable of resolving escalated issues require for operation and coordination of interdepartmental, and interhospital collaborationStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborates with other executives in the organization about making decisions about health care services, settings, and organizational priorities.Promotes a practice environment that empowers nurses and others to provide effective, compassionate, and efficient care
