The Administrative Clinical Care Partner is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and supports the unit by maintaining inventory to include chart supplies, patient educational supplies, and daily unit supplies. Performs basic patient care skills for our Medicine/Oncology population, follows infection control practices, assists in transfers, and transports patients before and after procedures. Additionally, tasks include cleaning and preparing gurneys. ACCP's within the scope of practice assist with vital signs and transports patients ready for discharge under the discretion of the registered nurse. In addition, the ACCP's report any pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Your shift may be variable to meet departmental needs.
Salary Range: $26.57-$35.02 hourly
We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated clinical nurse assistant with:
·Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, required
·No prior CNA experience, required; One year CNA experience, preferred
·Clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred
·Ability to complete an 8-hour computer data entry training course
·Ability to perform all delegated nursing and PT/OT/RT assisted tasks
·Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred
·Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others
·Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information
·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload
