Job Description

Job Summary

· Support the CARE values of the organization.

· Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.

· Coordinates purchasing order activities, places and expediates orders, performs purchase order entry, resolves purchase order problems, and conducts follow-up activities as necessary to finalize purchase order transactions.

· Assist in managing inventories to ensure continuous production while maximizing turns.

· Filing of orders

· Assist buyer in various tasks

· Assist receiver in receiving items

· Assist in physical inventory

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to maintain and organize processes for completing work on time.

Working Relationships

Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates, and production floor workers.

Physical Requirements

· Position requires constant physical effort both inside and outside of an air-conditioned environment.

· Must be able to lift/move in excess of 50 lbs. at a time.

· Stand, walk, stoop, and perform motions for an extended period of time.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position; days and hours of work may vary depending on business demands. Minimum 3 days a week and maximum of 24 hours per week.
