The University of New Mexico School of Medicine Research Office is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our team as an Administrative Assistant to Executive Director.
The School of Medicine Research Office supports a broad portfolio of research, research education, faculty development, and workforce development programs that advance the research mission of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.
This position serves as the primary administrative support resource for the Senior Associate Dean for Research and provides administrative support for the School of Medicine Research Office and School of Medicine Research Education Office. Responsibilities include coordinating executive scheduling, meetings, communications, travel arrangements, document preparation, records management, and administrative activities that support research, research education, faculty development, and workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
