Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: Three months contract with possible hire

Description: 

Under moderate supervision, performs tasks associated requesting and obtaining authorizations. Organizes, updates, and maintains a worklist documenting progressing on tasks. Serves as the primary liaison between patient, Hospital, and third-party payers in answering questions and arranging payment. Answers and screens incoming calls while providing excellent customer service. 

Effectively meets patient/customer needs; builds productive patient/customer relationships; takes responsibility for patient/customer satisfaction and loyalty. Has the ability to provide excellent service to both external and internal customers. 

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in medical office setting or hospital performing financial clearance processes. 
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills: Ability to work with PC, Microsoft Office
