The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 to support the Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) Division. Reporting to the Director, this position provides advanced administrative & operational support for a multifaceted division responsible for enrollment and student success services. It serves as a central administrative liaison for the division & coordinates a variety of fiscal, personnel, project, reporting, scheduling, records-management, & event-related activities. Position assists with administrative problem solving, monitors and reconciles expenditures, coordinates division projects and operational commitments, prepares reports and correspondence, supports staff recruitment processes, and works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, schools, community partners, and other University departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, confidentiality, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage priorities in a student-centered environment.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of over 2,000 students per semester.

Conditions of Employment

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
