Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods and the relationship to the pedagogy of teaching. Possess a high level of technical skills and subject matter knowledge as it relates to a specific discipline. Evidence of initiative, resourcefulness and adaptability.

Qualifications

Dental Assisting:

Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline required. Dental certifications required.

Three years of related work experience or a combination of work and teaching experience preferred.

Dental Hygiene:

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (CRDH) in the State of Florida.

Bachelor of Applied Sciences (B.A.S.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher required.

Three years of work experience as a dental hygienist is required, and teaching experience is preferred.
